It’s the most wonderful time of the year… to drink your weight in boozy festive cocktails.
We’ve been on a bit of a festive cocktail kick lately, but these salted caramel cold brew cocktails are for sure my favourite. Creamy, dreamy Salted Caramel Baileys swirling in a mixture of oat milk and coffee liqueur… add in lashings of thick caramel and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt and you’re in millennial Christmas heaven.
Think of these cocktails as your morning oat latte, but for night time and with a salted caramel kick. They’re the ideal drink to help you decorate the Christmas tree and they’re the perfect sidekick for some last minute chaotic gift wrapping.
Salted caramel cold brew cocktails
MAKES 2 COCKTAILS
80mL coffee liqueur
80mL Salted Caramel Baileys
120mL oat milk
1 tbsp caramel
1 tbsp flaky sea salt
Step 1 — Using the back of a teaspoon, decorate the inside of your glassware with caramel.
Step 2 — Spread the flaky sea salt out on a small plate.
Step 3 — Get a shallow, wide bowl and fill with room temperature water.
Step 4 — Dip the rim of your glasses in the water, then quickly dip in the flaky sea salt, applying gentle pressure to ensure an even coating around the rim of the glass.
Step 5 — Grab a cocktail shaker and fill with lots of ice. Add the coffee liqueur, Salted Caramel Baileys and oat milk — shake well.
Step 6 — Pour into your prepared glasses and garnish with a tiny sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Cheers!
