‘Tis the season to snuggle up on the couch with some snacks and watch all of the awfully cheesy / beyond whimsical / totally ridiculous festive movies.
I’m very opinionated when it comes to the Christmas movies I watch each December — and yes, Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas movie — and I’d consider my taste to be pretty great if I do say so myself… so here are the twelve Christmas movies I’ll be watching in the lead up to [as well as on the day of] Christmas. I’m also sharing the streaming platform you can find each movie [in Australia] on to save you some scrolling time. You’re welcome!

13th: Four Holidays [Binge]
Vince Vaughn at his best!
14th: Die Hard [Disney+]
Again — Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas movie.
15th: Last Holiday [Binge]
Queen Latifah on a luxury European holiday in the middle of snowy Christmas? Perfection!
16th: Jingle All The Way [Disney+]
The dumbest movie in existence but also one of the greats.
17th: Elf [Netflix]
A family friendly holiday classic.
18th: The Family Stone [Disney+]
Who can say no to a little SJP during the holidays?
19th: Deck The Halls [Netflix]
Truly one of the most underrated Christmas movies.
20th: The Holiday [Prime Video]
Kate Winslet carries this film and we all love her for it. One of my top three Christmas movies.
21st: Love Actually [Stan]
Everyone’s favourite holiday rom-com. I’ll never forgive Alan Rickman for buying that office tart a gold necklace tbh.
22nd: Home Alone [Disney+]
LITERAL PERFECTION. A masterpiece. Unmissable.
23rd: Home Alone: Lost In New York [Disney+]
I love this movie purely for the bird lady. Ugh, I wish her well.
24th: Christmas With The Kranks [Stan]
The best Christmas movie that has ever been made and / or will ever be made. Point blank period. End of discussion.
